PR Spirit Shop
The Pleasant Ridge Spirit Shop is open now until 9/3! Show your PR pride with a soft Bella + Canvas t-shirt or a warm sweatshirt! Youth and adult sizes are available. New this year, we also have Sting croc charms! Apparel will be delivered to school to bring home by 9/18 (just in time for PR on the Hill on 9/19!). Check out the spirit wear options here!
Boo Hoo Yahoo!
Boo Hoo Yahoo! will be held on Tuesday 8/26 for all incoming Y5 and K families* to learn about the PTA and meet other families of students just beginning their experience at Pleasant Ridge. Join us near the south entrance of the school (please see the map below), starting at 8:45 AM. Parents of students who ride the bus are also more than welcome to come up and meet us there for light breakfast, celebratory “mimosas” and tissues!
*Families of all grade levels are welcome!
PR on the Hill
Join fellow PR classmates and families for a tailgate and to cheer on the Saline Hornets as they take on the Dexter Dreadnaughts on 9/19 at the SHS football stadium. The PR tailgate will be 5:00 PM – 6:15 PM with kickoff at 7:00 PM. Pizza and refreshments will be provided, including allergy-friendly options. Please reach out if you have any questions regarding allergens.
The PR tailgate will be located south of Hornet Stadium between the baseball and softball fields (same location as last year) – please see the map below. Be on the lookout for the balloons and tables setup, identifying the space! We will have signs and/or balloons to help guide families there!
Football game tickets are $6 each and must be purchased online. Click here to purchase tickets! Note: Saline students are FREE and do not need a ticket! This game is also Homecoming. Wear your PR/Saline spirit gear to show your Hornet pride!
For the families planning to attend the game, we will head to the stadium around 6:20 PM so the kids can form the tunnel for the Hornets as they take the field prior to kickoff! Pleasant Ridge students and families will be gathering on the northeast hill next to the visitor’s stands if you’d like to watch the game with classmates!
We are looking for some help setting up, distributing food/drinks, and then breaking down the tailgate. If you are interested in volunteering for this event, sign up here.

September 2025 PR PTA Meeting
Our first meeting of the 2025-2026 school year will be on Thursday, September 4th at Pleasant Ridge in the Staff Lounge. We’ll have time for socializing at 7:00 PM with meeting beginning at 7:30 PM. All are welcome!
