In February, severe winter weather and seasonal illnesses can make it difficult for the American Red Cross to maintain a sufficient blood supply. Your donation can give hope and strength to patients in need. Cancer patients use nearly one quarter of the blood supply – more than patients fighting any other disease. When you donate blood, you can extend a patient’s time by a day, a week or even years. The Red Cross and American Cancer Society are asking you to Give Blood to Give Time.

Patients fighting cancer use more blood than patients fighting any other disease. And, there simply aren’t enough people donating regularly to meet the need. #GiveBloodToGiveTime at our Red Cross blood drive 2/21 from 2:30 – 8:30 at Pleasant Ridge Elementary.
