Getting your 3rd graders ready for M-Step

mstep

Reminder from Principal Bezeau and our 3rd Grade Teachers:

The Michigan Student Test of Educational Progress (M-STEP) begins on Wednesday, April 27, 2016 and continues on Tuesday, May 3rd and Thursday, May 5th for all of our 3rd Grade Students. We encourage all of our 3rd Grade Students to get a great night sleep before each of these testing dates (as with every night for all of our students) and eat a good breakfast to be ready for this important progress monitoring opportunity for our students and their families.

Make sure your child gets a good night’s sleep tonight. Avoid heavy foods and high sugar  at breakfast and keep a positive attitude about the test. Encourage your child to do his/her best. #prthirdgrade

The act of performing is an important part of our music curriculum. This concert is not only a culmination of our students’ hard work in music class this year, but it also provides children the experience of performing for an audience outside of the classroom. We ask all students and families to make as much of an effort as they can to attend and support their classmates. If you find that you cannot make the concert, please let Ms. Ouellette know so that we can plan accordingly. Students will be featured in small groups and we want to avoid students being left on their own due to absences. If you have any questions please contact Ms. Ouellette.
